Bad sound quality Mar 15, 2010
I wasn't really expecting much from this speaker when I bought it...I mean it is just a speaker in a case, however its sound quality is truly disappointing.

The high notes are off the charts loud and the low notes are almost inaudible, and there is no way to fix this. It has the sound quality of a free pair of headphones they give you on an airplane. I have no idea how deaf the other people are who also reviewed this speaker but it's very disappointing.

Great Sound from Small Carrying Case Nov 16, 2009
I purchased this to take on vacation. Wanted something small and light. This was perfect. Sound is very good, and ipod is protected. Room enough to store earphones and other things. Can play any mp3 or other device with an earphone jack. Uses 2 AAA batteries.

Pros:
Good size. Works well with iPhone.
Sounds good. At max volume it's a tiny bit scratchy.
Nice finish quality. Does not feel "cheap."
Keep your device sand free when at the Beach.
Concealed speaker prevents speaker damage.

Cons:
Can't control device when closed.
Difficult to control touchscreen through "net" style device holder.
No external volume or on/off switch.
Not Rechargeable.

Overall, I like it a lot. I bought it mainly to drop my iphone in it and stream pandora while at the beach. Kind of a Set and forget deal. If you're one that changes songs or volume frequently, I would reconsider this one.

I gave it 4 stars just because I would like to at least be able to adjust the volume or turn it on/off without unzipping it.

Excellent Product - Great Sound! May 30, 2009
I purchased 8 speaker cases for an office give-away and couldn't be more pleased. the hard case is large enough to hold an iPhone yet small enought so as not to be cumbersome. The sound quality is wondeful - especially coming from something so small - it wasn't muffled or distorted at all. We are very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this product.
