The 1.5R is a true 'hybrid': great as a bedside alarm, even better in the kitchen, den or office... anywhere great sound belongs. Vers 1.5R is available in Cherry, Natural Walnut, Dark Walnut, Bamboo and White Gloss finishes. Finished by hand, each Vers system takes over a week to build and each one is unique. It sounds as good as it looks; there's simply no substitute for the rigid, 9 mm thick walls of a Vers cabinet for accurate sound reproduction.

Lose display when power is out Feb 10, 2010
Part of the reason for buying this product was that it had a battery backup and would not lose the time in a power outage. It works but you can not see the time when on backup.

Bought from cyberspace to replace old CD/alarm clock/radio that finally died.
Compact with nice natural look. Large lit time display, easy to program options, excellent sound...to the point we actually listen to classical music in our bedroom again
You can say only so much about an iPod clock radio but I am very happy about this purchase as is my wife (very important!)
