earbud smart wrap Jun 10, 2010 THIS PRODUCT WAS A WASTE OF TIME. IT DOES NOT HOLD 'MUCH' OF THE EARBUD WIRE. IT IS COMBER SOME AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.
Simple tool, works well Apr 05, 2010 I keep my in-ear headphones in a labcoat pocket at work. I got tired of pulling them out tangled up everyday, so I gave this smart wrapa try. There is nothing special about it. It is just some soft rubber-like material that holds the cord. It does get the job done though. I would say the negatives are that it is a little small, and I have to do a lot of wrapping to get the whole cord on there. It also looks like it wasn't cut out that well, but that is only aesthetic. On the plus side, it is soft so you could easily cut more notches into it if you wanted to customize.
Helpful Accessory Mar 14, 2010 Wasn't sure what to expect, having only seen pictures online. Pleasantly surprised at it's felixabilty. Most helpful in maintaining those long headphone/earbud cords while you enjoy your tunes.
Good, with a few mods. Feb 27, 2010 It works fine, all i did was drill a few holes in te body to reduce wight, other than that, its a good deal for $3 including shipping.
Works ok Oct 27, 2009 It's just a piece of rubber and you wrap your cables around it.
I could see some problems using this depending on how thick your cables are (if too thin it might not grab cable tight enough) and on how active you are while using it, but for me it works alright. I mostly use it to wrap my earbuds when I store them away in my pocket or backpack so I have no problem with it weighting down on the cords as someone mentioned, but I can see how that would be a problem. I also wouldn't recommend this to anyone that wants to have it dangling while running with your iPod for example. Although, if you wrap your cables close to your iPod, it should be more secure than having this thing midway through the cord.
Overall, it's not perfect, but it beats having your cable dangling all over the place, especially when putting your iPod/earbuds away in your bag or pocket.
